Wildflower Club Rebate Program: Wildflower has a club rebate program, where we can receive a $10 rebate for every registered participant that our club encourages to sign-up and race. The check goes directly to the club and can be help us with team events. We have submitted the “Triathlon Club Registration Form,” and our club should be listed on the drop down menu on the on-line registration form. You choose our club name when registering. This program is good for every Tri-California race!
We need a minimum of 10 members to sign up but that should not be a problem as we expect TC to be in force at Wildflower. If you already registered, we need to get credit for your registration. Please email me and I will send Wildflower Registration the names of those who already registered.
Wildflower Recon Trip: Our annual club reconnaissance trip to Lake San Antonio is scheduled for April 8-10. Arrive Friday anytime. Saturday we ride the course, either Olympic or Long Course, and do part or all of the run course. The rest of the day is scheduled for eating, relaxing, and enjoying the park. If its not to cold, we may even get in the water. Saturday night we do a camp fire and wonder how nice it would be to win the lottery so we don't have to go home. Sunday we do the run course, have lunch, and head home. If you're doing any of the 3 Wildflower races, this is a great opportunity to see the course in a safe, no pressure situation with friends. So mark you calendars.
Wildflower Feedback: I've done the Wildflower Triathlon since I was born. Well maybe not that long but its seems like it. Its one of my favorite painful moments. Each year the race get better because they improve it. Improvements come from you. I've been in touch with Tri-California and they are committed to working better with us by enhancing our 2011 Club Benefits program. The rebate program is an example. Tri-California is very interested to hear your feedback and have designed a survey where you can share feedback: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/triclub .
If you know me you know my bone to pick is the so called first "come first serve" camp site policy. I'll be picking that bone again this year and if you feel the same or wish to make other suggestion, please do so. If you elect to express interest in some of the programs, please use the return email address:
